GREEK TURKEY BURGERS!
Here is the recipe my family recently tried for 21 day fix approved turkey burgers!
So YUMMY !!! Even the kids loved this!!! πππ
Ingredients:
Turkey Burger:
¾ grated zucchini
1 ½ lbs of lean ground turkey
2 garlic cloves (minced)
¼ cup red onion (minced)
1 Tsp of oregano
¾ tsp seasalt
¾ tsp black pepper
1/3 cup feta cheese
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Tzadiziki:
½ cup of plain greek yogurt
¼ cup cucumber grated & peeled
1 tsp white wine vinegar
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp dill
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Greek salad:
1 cucumber peeled & diced
2 medium tomatoes diced
1 cup fresh romain
¼ red onion diced
1/3 cup kalamata olives
1 tsp Oregano
Sea salt to taste
1 tbsp feta cheese
Instructions:
In a large bowl combine all turkey burger ingredients and mix well, divide into 6 equal patties. Cook burgers on medium heat about 5 minutes per side until no longer pink inside.
Combine all ingredients for Greek salad in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Combine all ingredients for tzadziki in small bowl and mix well, refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with a whole wheat pita on the side! Greek burger first, Greek salad on top and tzadziki salad on top of that!
