You don't always have to use syrup!!! ❤️

It's what's for breakfast!! A year ago you would have not been able to catch me in the kitchen!!! Now I'm actually starting to enjoy it and I know what goes in my food vs eating out!! πŸ˜‹ isn't it so pretty ?!? πŸ˜‚ this is one of the 2 I didn't burn ! Hahaha Lol .

Grocery Tips!

Just sat down with hubby and planned out our meals for the week! We have learned so much and we have DROPPED our grocery bill from $250-300 a week to $100-$150.

Here are some tips I can share with you!

✔️ Buy less boxes & more REAL foods!

✔️ Circle the perimeter of the store rather than the aisles

✔️ Have a plan! (It takes 15 minutes to make a list , if you have at least your dinners planned you will be less opt to grab random stuff )

✔️ Weekly staples such as milk , eggs , cheese don't change much

✔️ Don't go to the grocery store hungry 😜

✔️ Have a budget (we take the cash in hand, we know what everything costs and we DON'T go over )

✔️ Don't take the kids! If you can , go alone or with just 1 kid, you will be in and out quicker and they like to get you off task ! (Mommy can I have this , can I have that ?)

✔️ Look at your cart at the end and pick out 3-5 items that wandered into your cart that you don't really need 😬

✔️ Allow some treats & fun but don't go overboard

✔️ Remember there is always next week , if you see something you like , put it on the plan for next week!

Stuffed Bell Peppers !

Ground chicken stuffed peppers ! πŸ˜‹ this is a FAVORITE for us !

We always change it up with veggies and ingredients ! Some days we throw in black beans, rice or tomato sauce  ! Today this is what we did!

4-6 green bell peppers
1-2 lbs of ground chicken
2 zucchini
1 large carrot
1 white onion
2 tomatoes
1 celery
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic
Cheddar cheese
Olive oil

- Cut tops of bell peppers & clean out centers/ seeds .
-cook ground chicken in olive oil
-dice up all veggies and add seasonings & add to ground chicken in a pan
-mix in a half a cup of cheddar cheese
-when veggies & chicken are cooked {stuff the peppers }
-bake peppers for 30-45 minutes on 400 degrees
-add a sprinkle of cheese on top & bake till cheese is melted 3-5 minutes

Crockpot Taco Meat

We LOVE to keep dinner simple around here !!! Something that is a staple (because we love our tacos 😜)  is this meat!!! Put it in the crockpot in the morning and dinner is SO easy and quick!!! Tonight we are using it for nachos!! πŸ€—

2 lbs of chicken
1/2 white onion diced
1/2 red bell pepper diced
1 tomato diced
Salt , pepper , garlic , paprika and California chili powder!!!
1-2 cups of water , you will have to shred meat as it starts to dry up and add water so it doesn't burn

I wish you could smell it !! 😍😍😍

I was wondering what she was writing and then I looked up. These little people are reminders that there is good in the world and he places them to give us signs . Greek Turkey Burgers - 21 day fix approved

GREEK TURKEY BURGERS!
Here is the recipe my family recently tried for 21 day fix approved turkey burgers!
So YUMMY !!!  Even the kids loved this!!! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Ingredients:

Turkey Burger:
¾ grated zucchini
1 ½ lbs of lean ground turkey
2 garlic cloves (minced)
¼ cup red onion (minced)
1 Tsp of oregano
¾ tsp seasalt
¾ tsp black pepper
1/3 cup feta cheese
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Tzadiziki:
½ cup of plain greek yogurt
¼ cup cucumber grated & peeled
1 tsp white wine vinegar
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp dill
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper

Greek salad:
1 cucumber peeled & diced
2 medium tomatoes diced
1 cup fresh romain
¼ red onion diced
1/3 cup kalamata olives
1 tsp Oregano
Sea salt to taste
1 tbsp feta cheese

Instructions:

In a large bowl combine all turkey burger ingredients and mix well, divide into 6 equal patties. Cook burgers on medium heat about 5 minutes per side until no longer pink inside.

Combine all ingredients for Greek salad in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Combine all ingredients for tzadziki in small bowl and mix well, refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with a whole wheat pita  on the side! Greek burger first, Greek salad on top and tzadziki salad on top of that!

Quick & Easy Breakfast

I have been LOVING whole grain waffles toasted with peanut butter and some fresh fruit on top!!! My favorite is strawberries and blueberries!!! I use 1 πŸ’› & 1/2 πŸ’œ for this yummy quick breakfast !!!

Mason jar salads & Overnight oats

It took me 15 minutes to prepare my lunch and breakfast for the week!!!! I had a baby in hand and my 5 year old measuring and stuffing them for me!!

Salads and overnight oats !!! I tell my challengers if you don't plan , you are planning to fail!!! Make a plan and see it through!! It will make it so much easier on you!!! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Layer salads : dressing , meat, veggies , lettuce , toppings (cheese& black beans)
Overnight oats: Greek yogurt , oats , fruit , honey

Busy is an excuse. Time is an illusion!! You can do it! You just have to ask yourself "How bad do I want this?" ❤️

Family pizza night !! 21 day fix approved

Here is a Fun family meal that is great for kids to participate in! Home made pizzas!!!

We buy whole wheat Pita bread , Mozzarella  & Cheddar cheese fresh organic pasta sauce with nothing added, fresh ham & pepperoni , and veggies like mushrooms bell peppers & olives!

Put all the ingredients in bowls on the table if you have kids old enough have them add their own sauce meat & cheese! Our kids even add veggies because it's fun to decorate your pizza!

Bake in oven till cheese is melted around 15 minutes usually!

Stop spreading negativity

Sometimes I see other women putting each other down for sharing their life. Choosing to put yourself out there isn't always easy!! Why are we so quick to judge ? I don't post on social media for likes , comments and love. It isn't to boost my ego and make me feel good. I could care less how many or who sees it, but if I can reach ONE person. If I can make someone's day better. I post to INSPIRE others. If I wasn't sharing my weight loss story I would not have been able to help over 100 women on their weight loss journey over the last year ! If I wasn't sharing my journey , I wouldn't have connected to the AMAZING women on my team!!!

I post to motivate. I post to inspire . I post to show you that it is possible! I LOVE seeing woman post selfies, work out videos , before and afters, pictures of their kids and families! I love seeing women support women!!! I stay away from negativity ! Choose to build someone up. Use social media to create happiness. It's so much better than sharing some negative quote, negative article or negative political rant! You want the world to be a better place? Stop spreading negativity ! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Stuffed Chicken!

Pepper Jack & Spinach stuffed chicken !!! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹  We like to keep our recipes simple around here!! You can change it up with the veggies inside (adding mushrooms/onions etc)

Ingredients:
2-3 Chicken breasts
1 cup of spinach
1cup of pepper jack cheese

-Slice chicken breasts in half
-Stuff with spinach & pepper jack cheese
-Season with Pepper, paprika & garlic

Bake in Oven at 400 for 20-30 minutes

Smoothie bowl/ Acai bowl

Nothing like a tasty Acai bowl in the morning !!!

Acai bowl 

Ingredients
Granola (I used fresh from sprouts)
Frozen blueberries
Frozen strawberries 
Banana
1 scoop of tropical vegan Shakeology (you can use a pre packaged Acai packet as well , they sell them at the grocery store ) 
Peanut butter or almond butter 
Honey 

πŸ‘‰πŸΌLayer bottom of a bowl with granola 
πŸ‘‰πŸΌIn a blender add frozen fruit , 1 scoop of Tropical Shakeology or Acai package  , 1/2 cup of water (no fresh fruit in blender and no ice , you want this to get like a sorbet ) 
πŸ‘‰πŸΌPour sorbet in bowl on top of granola , cut a half a banana later on top , sprinkle some granola on top, add 1-2 teaspoons of peanut butter on top and a drizzle of honey!!!

(You can change it up with the fruits and get creative !!! )

Oatmeal cookie Shakeology

My Breakfast EVERYDAY!!! 😍 I drink the Vegan version because I was nursing Kingston and he can't handle too much dairy !!! What I've learned over the last year  is I can't handle dairy much either anymore !!! 😁

Shakeology is filled with daily vitamins , nutrients, probiotics & prebiotics! It is Gluten FREE and There is even a dairy free option is available!!! ❤ It makes me feel amazing , energized and I no longer get daily headaches!!! #healthmatters #fuelyourbody

Chicken Caprese

Chicken Caprese

Servings 2

2-3 chicken breasts
2 Tomato
6 leaves of Basil
1/2 Red onion
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Olive oil
Sea Salt , Pepper & Garlic to taste

Dice all ingredients and mix together to make a Caprese salad. Cook chicken in olive oil & Caprese mix on top. Service with a side salad & slice of whole wheat pita .
✨ A year ago I had finally been living my dream life . I was married  , had 4 kids , working a career I love . I had it all. I started to realize it wasn't what I dreamed of when I was little! Something was missing . I was working constantly, we were stressed financially & I was missing out on my kids lives! This isn't how it was supposed to be . I decided I wasn't going to settle .

I started my journey on health and fitness 8 weeks postpartum with my last pregnancy . I had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and that was the last straw. I had NO idea that a "little" challenge group would change my life ! I realized that I wasn't the only mom struggling to love herself and we weren't the only family stressed financially .

{Fast Forward} minus almost 40 lbs and tons of inches! How could I keep this a secret ?!

I believe in this company. I know what it has done for me and I want others to feel the same. I had NO idea what I was doing but I jumped all in because who goes anywhere with one foot in and one foot out?! I started my 1st challenge group with about 2-3 other girls! I use social media to inspire and share what I was doing . I want others to know they are NOT ALONE.

I will STAY the course. I BELIEVE & I WILL SUCCEED! Do you want to create a fitness business that allows you to earn income from your home?!

I went from overweight, stressed, tired , run down & living paycheck to paycheck to now 40 lbs lighter, energetic mama , happy, confidence rocking ,  saving money and paying off debt !!! I won't QUIT MY DAYDREAM!
